The Book of Daniel appears towards the end of the Bible and reflects the period of our history when the Babylonian Exile was coming to an end. Of the better known stories within this book is that of Daniel in the lion’s den. We will make our way through the book considering the historical, theological, and spiritual implications and lessons contained within those stories. Within our study will also be a comparison of Jewish and Christian viewpoints, which can vary dramatically from each other.
