Mission Statement
Temple Beth Am is an egalitarian, Conservative synagogue. We strive to be a spiritual home where a Jewish path can continue or begin in the company of a loving and caring community. Our community cultivates an atmosphere that is open, engaging, and welcoming. We celebrate Torah and the traditions of Jewish living by providing a relaxed yet spiritual and religious experience. Our members benefit from lifelong education programming from the youngest to the oldest. Our Judaism extends beyond the walls of our synagogue as we participate in interfaith and other communal activities and social action projects. We embrace individuals and families of all backgrounds including interfaith and same-sex marriages. We believe strongly in making a difference in each member’s life, in the larger community, in Israel, and in our world.
