Temple Beth Am members now have the opportunity to volunteer and participate in Tikkun Olam. Our outreach will be helping children, adults, animals, the community, the environment, as well as making improvements in our temple. Join us! ADULTS - Women in Distress, nursing homes, homeless shelters, soup kitchens

ANIMALS - Shelter assistance, dog walking, grooming & feeding

CHILDREN - Shelters, disabled, hospitals

COMMUNITY - Museums, vendors, driving people to appointments, working with immigrants

INTERNAL - Assisting at the temple; cleaning, volunteering, helping staff

PLEASE NOTE, SOME VENUES MAY REQUIRE:

Volunteer background checks and/or fingerprinting
Volunteer training sessions
Volunteer identification (specific clothing, badges, IDs, etc.)
Volunteers to sign liability waivers
Volunteer ongoing commitments; some are limited or temporary
