The Book of Job; the most difficult book in the Bible
You are invited to join in a three-part study of the Book of Job, a good and decent man who suffers miserably, leaving us to ask the question, “Why?”
Many consider this to be the most difficult and challenging book of the 39 books that make up the Tanach, the Jewish Bible. We will confront the issue of Divine Justice and the presence of good and evil in the universe. Inevitably we will consider the painful question: Is God the cause of human suffering? If not, does that mean there are limitations on God’s power? If yes, does that mean there are limitations on God’s goodness?
Join us for three Tuesday evenings on Zoom from 7-8pm
