Leah Gottfried is an award-winning director, writer, producer and actor, and founder of the production company Dignity Entertainment  - a full-service production company dedicated to creating meaningful visual content.

Leah graduated with a Film Studies degree from Yeshiva University where she studied screenwriting and TV writing as well as cinematography at NYU.  Leah also studied at The Actors Circle in Los Angeles and has numerous commercials and TV credits including Time Warner Cable and Yamaha ATV under her belt.  She is a sought after speaker and writer, with recent speaking engagements including Yeshiva University and Limmud NY and an op-ed piece published on Mayim Bialik's Groknation website. 

Currently, Leah is focused on a pilot expanding upon her hit web series "Soon By You", which she writes, directs and stars in. “Soon By You” has attracted coverage from over 50 press outlets, including The New York Post, The Daily Beast, The Huffington Post and The Los Angeles Jewish Journal. It follows 6 twenty-something New Yorkers as they navigate the modern Orthodox Jewish dating scene, one “set up” at a time. The series is popular both within the Jewish community and beyond. Viewers relate to the simple humanity of the show all while getting a glimpse into this fascinating subculture. As one fan commented, "Isn't it ironic that I come from a Muslim background and I find this show totally relevant?" It’s a fresh and surprisingly relatable peek into an alternative way of dating in 2019. A member of the Jewish modern Orthodox community in New York, Leah’s unique firsthand knowledge of this world makes the series all the more authentic.
