The Men's Club is proud to present 1969 NY Mets World Series champion, Art Shamsky, live at Temple Beth Am.

Art Shamsky was a professional baseball player for 13 years. He was a major part of the 1969 Miracle Mets that won the World Championship defeating the Baltimore Orioles. Art's bat is in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY for hitting four consecutive home runs in four at-bats while playing for the Cincinnati Reds before being traded to the Mets. 

Mr. Shamsky is a member of the New York Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. He was inducted into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1994

Mr. Shamsky is the author of "After the Miracle" which reminisces his time with the 1969 Mets.

The book is available for pre-order and can be picked up at the presentation.
