Film Festival - Fanny's Journey
Saturday, December 7, 2019 • 9 Kislev 5780
7:30 PM - 10:00 PMSocial HallA touching, true story about thirteen-year old Fanny Ben-Ami and her two younger sisters who were sent from their home in Vichy France to live in an Italian foster home for Jewish children in 1943. They were forced to leave when the Nazis arrived in Italy and the film details their incredible escape from Italy over the Swiss border to freedom. It is a beautiful film about family ties, courage, and the will to survive against all odds.
