Temple Beth Am Adult Education

 

Rabbi Paul Plotkin's Book of Why

A follow-up to last year's very successful Judaism 101, Rabbi Plotkin will offer a course based on the" Jewish Book of Why". In addition to some of the Why questions raised in the book he will add some of his own "WHY" questions , and will also be receiving more " Why" questions from the class. The course is open to everyone of all backgrounds. If you ever had one of those, "Rabbi I always wanted to know why..." questions this course is for you.

Time: 7:30 - 8:30 P.M. Fee: $35 for Members / $42 for Non-Members

 

Kabbala - The Zohar Continued, with Rabbi Paul Plotkin

This class is for learners continuing their Kabbalah studies from the Zohar. It is only open to those who have completed the two-year introduction class.

Meet: 10/05, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/02, 11/09, 11/16

Time: 8:30 - 9:30 P.M. Fee: $35 for Members / $42 for Non-Members

Studying the Talmud - Sunday Morning classes

This class is a continuation of the very successful Friday morning, Talmud class. We will be studying the tractate Pesachim, which deals in part with issues about Passover. Rabbi Plotkin will review the background of Talmud studies during the first session for those who have no background and then we'll continue with teaching the text in ENGLISH. Bagels and coffee will be served .
